Brought on as a contractor in March of 2014 to assist Silicon Valley Community Foundation with a colocation provider migration, I quickly took over responsibilities that included supporting the new DaaS (Desktop-as-a-Service) Environment (VMWare Horizon View), standing up an infrastructure stack that included virtualization to provide both horizontal and vertical systems redundancy (VMWare ESXi 6.0, EMC VNXe Storage, Cisco 3850 Switches, Dell PowerEdge R630 Servers), administered third party authentication services (Okta, Microsoft AD Connect, Azure Active Directory) to provide single-sign-on capabilities to various SaaS products (Office 365, Zendesk, Namely, Lever, Slack, Box), and provide technical insight into how the various line of business services are interwoven.
