Architected and led test and integration activities for rapid requirement DoD space system. Managed a geographically distributed and multi-faceted engineering team. On track to field critical space asset and supporting command and control architecture at a fraction of the traditional DoD program timeline.

Integrated launch and test programs with base engineering, range, and support organizations. Helped new range users establish and optimize operations at the Vandenberg Western Range. Onboarded four programs, including traditional launch providers, small satellite providers, and otherexperimental technologies.

Right-hand to operations group commander overseeing space launch activities at Vandenberg Space Force Base. Reviewed individual and department performance of 450-person group and worked with leadership to improve processes.

Led team of 8 engineers to conduct pre-launch engineering QA and day-of-launch monitoring for SpaceX Falcon 9 launches. Advised “go/no go” of booster and ground support mechanical systems for 11 launches. Assessed mechanical systems for major milestone review board, resulting in the qualification of F9 to launch the first DoD payloads at Vandenberg AFB.

Developed corrosion detection robot for small, contained spaces. Participated in actuator design, structural design, LiDAR sensor integration and software build. Utilized Solidworks, MATLAB, Python, Arduino. Competed and placed at 2018 NACE conference competition.

Structural, solar panel, and power system design and analysis; utilized SolidWorks and MATLAB. Orbital analysis and integrated system modeling; Utilized STK and MATLAB.
