As a motivated college student pursuing an Earth Sciences Degree with a concentration in Environmental Earth Sciences at Central Connecticut State University, I am deeply passionate about finishing my upper-level courses and possibly going to graduate school in order to obtain my master's degree in Earth Sciences/Geology and obtain a job as an Environmental Consultant and either staying local to New England or possibly take my skills out west and work in Oregon or Washington state. Committed to academic excellence, I have honed my skills in Environmental Geoscience, Mineralogy, use of petrographic microscope, ArcGIS from beginner to intermediate level, and much more, and actively seek opportunities to apply my knowledge in real-world settings. Engaging in campus activities, I am developing a well-rounded skill set in being able to understand the petrographic microscope and how to identify minerals, being able to use topographic maps, and understanding what landforms are being shown through the help of geomorphology. I am excited to understand soil sciences and how to distinguish between the different soil horizons's different properties associated with them. I am eager to contribute my energy, creativity, and dedication to a dynamic professional environment. I am actively seeking internships or collaborations that align with my career aspirations as either an Environmental Consultant or working in soil science.
