Data center and telecom infrastructure provider based in New York City with 22 locations in the US and 200mm annual revs, 300+ employees. Telx was sold to multiple private equity firms and in 2016 acquired by Digital Realty.• Led architecture and development of a customer portal for 10,000 users enabling customer self-service access to SAP, SalesForce.com, and Aperture Vista DCIM; portal won Liferay’s Pulse award.• Evaluated portal platforms and development vendors including onshore and offshore (Costa Rica and India); monitored progress of this multi-year project from ideation to completion and ongoing support.• Grew an IT organization from 1 employee to 10; evaluated and negotiated agreements with managed service providers for security, hosting and application support.• Managed a $5mm capex and opex budget; created a budgeting model based on inputs including headcount, revenue and occupied real estate to simplify IT budgeting process.• Led documentation and analysis of all key business processes including quote to cash, procurement, service delivery, incident response, planned maintenance, which later helped with SOC2 compliance. • Developed roadmaps addressing the IT needs of finance, operations, sales, and legal; analyzed hours per month of manual work in the order-to-cash process; and presented finding with visual heat maps.• Drove BI initiative; rolled out tools based on MS SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS and Tableau to improve time to access key data; took initiative to uncover and present data inconsistencies.
