Growing up on a small farm in Oregon gave me a foundation in hands-on, hard work in any weather. Since then I have gained valuable experience in several vocations. As a logger I worked in extreme terrain and weather, maintaining heavy equipment and applying various rigging techniques. As a construction worker, and small business owner, I have framed houses, erected steel framed commercial buildings, formed and poured concrete, operated and maintained bulldozers, excavators, dump-trucks, skid-steers, front-loaders , and operated a wide array of hand tools, power tools, hydraulic, and pneumatic tools. I worked my way through college part-time as a welder/fabricator having experience in MIG, ARC, TIG, Cutting, and Burning. I also have experience in machining, plumbing and basic electrical wiring. Additionally, I have held a USCG Captains License for uninspected passenger vessels on near coastal waters. Now working offshore as a tender/diver I am applying the skills necessary to excel in any underwater environment.
