As a Human Resources professional, I aspire to create a meaningful impact in the lives of my fellow business colleagues.I began my start in the HR industry during my first few years in higher education as I worked as a waiter/barista for local restaurants and cafes. With a strong sense of responsibility, I would always quickly work myself up to shift lead and management positions. Maintaining smooth business hours operation, assisting management with employee payroll, and creating strong team cohesion were just some of the responsibilities I took on while I pursued my Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management.During my degree program, I accepted an internship at Prudential Financial where I would where I would assist high level financial advisors and HR Management in producing documentation and repurposing promotional material to attract potential new hires. I was also given the opportunity to glimpse into talent acquisition and retention. Tasked with networking, I helped to expand the financial advisory team by locating and screening prospects and create meeting and schedules for the HR Team to attract top level talent.After my internship, I took my HR degree and applied my skills in Keller Williams where I would utilize my knowledge of employment and contract laws. Understanding the intricacies of employment law is mandatory to be successful and ethical within the real estate industry. I have to carefully navigate through legal and technical jargon to make sure that both my clients and fellow agents are aware of what is within the contract and its implications upon acceptance. Real estate also requires strong networking and communication skills to ensure that everyone is up to date with current market trends, present favorable deals during negotiation, and be understand the effects on industry from legislative changes.During my time at Prudential and Keller Williams, I aimed to better understand their industries by attaining a Texas Insurance and Real Estate License respectively. I always pursue education to expand my toolkit so that I may better service the company and people that I work with.
