Working as a senior analyst in Analytics vertical within the Ethiopian Agricultural Transformation Agency. The Analytics team is modeled based on a strategic consulting firm structure. Our work mainly focus on strategical problem solving, strategy development, project design and implementation support across but not limited to the agricultural sector of Ethiopia.Key Projects Involved In• Developed a sourcing model for agricultural inputs retailed through the agricultural one stop shops, which will be established in selected ACC woredas in Ethiopia. The project mainly focused on designing a future state shop network, develop sourcing model for inputs and implementation plan for the establishment of the shops.• Worked on Livestock & Fisheries Sector Development Project (LFSDP) by the Ethiopian Ministry of Agriculture (MoA) and Ethiopian Agricultural Transformation Agency (ATA), specifically on planning implementation of activities that fall under ATA. It includes reviewing the full scope of activities under LFSDP, development of MoA, and designing a PMO unit under Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries (MoLF) to coordinate, support, monitor and report on LFSDP progress.• Developed a 5-year implementation strategy for the ACC woredas which involves target setting based on priority commodities for each woreda, development of interventions, and strategy document preparation for the next 5 years.• Planned and facilitated a one-month workshop with agricultural experts from federal and regional level to list, prioritize and develop key investment areas for the coming 5 years in the agricultural sector. Aside from planning and facilitation, I developed templates and frameworks that was used throughout the workshop.• Involved in the Food and Beverages Processing and Auxiliary Industry Strategy, which focused on development of a strategy for selected food value chains in Ethiopia, I specifically worked on developing a strategy for edible oil value chain.
