I spent my third year of University as a marketing coordinator at ShopperTrak, the global leader in retail analytics. Here I was exposed to many different marketing functions and played a key role in the organisation of international events, advertising and content creation, website updates, competitor analysis and controlling the marketing budget. The main focus of my role within the marketing team was to focus on the digital side of marketing, this meant that I was lefft responsible for any website updates, creating blogs, planning and publishing all social media activity and to monitor the digital marketing metrics. I placed a large emphasis in recording a presenting the marketing metrics as a way of measuring performance, using tools such as Google Analytics, Salesforce and Pardot I was able to extract information on all of our digital marketing campaigns and their success rates, I would then feedback these metrics to the global team in the monthly ‘All Hands Meetings’.
