With almost 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, I have learned that some of my biggest assets are leadership, mentorship, adaptability, tenacity and a burning desire to succeed - in the many and varied forms success takes. Having now commanded many inside and outside sales teams operating in all corners of the US, recruiting and influencing thousands of independent agents and generating multi-billion dollars of premium; distribution is at the core of my skillset. With catchphrases like; "build the army", "recruit, train and maintain" - my teams have operated with a laser-like focus on controlling that which we can, and maneuvering with great aplomb the many changes and curveballs the industry has thrown our way through seemingly incessant government intervention. Focusing on our customer - the agent - and understanding their needs, we have learned to 'speak agent' fluently and tool to build systems and products that meet the needs of their clients and improve their workflow. I have a keen awareness that my success is predominantly gained through my interactions with the people I work with day in and day out. In a small industry, and an increasingly smaller world, your reputation is key. Doing the right thing for the right reasons has yet to steer me wrong.
