In my role within the Fundraising team at the University of Stirling, I helped organise, plan and run various events relating to fundraising and stakeholder engagement (including a Benefactor's Lunch, the Stirling Fund Award Ceremony and the hugely successful Keep Bridge Alive ProAm Pairs Tournament Evening) while also coordinating the various marketing and communications for a range of projects. This involved the creation of marketing materials that were unique and eye-catching for multiple purposes such as advertisement, recruitment and promotion. I also was responsible for the majority of the financial administration, document editing and traditional administration during campaigns such as the Spring Telethon.

As the Vice-President Education at Stirling Students' Union, I had an extremely wide range of responsibilities which included the following: Line management and training of 20 staff members; including overseeing individual projects, regular meetings to monitor and aid their progress, dealing with their various issues, and delivering a wide range of training on subjects such as Academic Quality; Equality, Diversity and Inclusion; Communication Skills and Project Management. Worked directly with Senior Management and Directors of Service to achieve a range of goals related directly to improving the student experience. Created and delivered presentations for a range of different committees, Steering and Working Groups, and Project Boards. Responsible for creative design for prominent campaigns across the University in collaboration with different departments and staff members, which included the successful Empty Space = Study Space campaign, as well as other campaigns around the abolishment of Graduation Fees, promotion of the University's Mental Health Strategy and the creation of a Student Partnership Agreement. Analysed survey results and databases in Microsoft Excel centred around the National Student Survey, as well as other crosscampus surveys, in order to produce detailed analysis and recommendations based on the findings. Key part of the Students' Union policy review, which involved disseminating the information for a wider audience, and writing up policy. Understanding of different financial documents such as annual budgets and income. Chairing of Committees whose membership included a wide range of individuals and responsibilities both within the University, as well as at conferences such as the Westminster Briefing Conference around the Office for Students and the Teaching Excellence Framework. Delivered accurate verbal and written reports to company personnel in the Union and University, as well as to the wider student body, and visitors to the University.

As a member of the board of trustees, I am responsible for financial and organisational oversight of the running of the Students' Union. I am also a member of the HR Sub-Committee, Risk Register and EDI Steering Group; giving me skills and knowledge of Human Resources, Risk Management and Control, and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion promotion and implementation.

This role involved student representation within a single Division at the University of Stirling. In this position, I attended various high level meetings discussing projects and plans with Senior Management and Academic Staff, as well as aiding in projects and advising and aiding both students and staff on particular courses of action.

Managing the account and ensuring that any spending was appropriate in both purpose and price, helped the Station Manager to redevelop the studio space to a high standard at an appropriate cost.
