Motion planning algorithms used to increase efficiency and prevent collisions• Paper submission to CASE Conference 2022 accepted: https://mitras.ece.illinois.edu/research/2022/CASE22.pdf• Research in the competition environment used to test the limits and capabilities of Koord, a new language in development designed to abstract away many lower level details. The language is currently building toward monitoring, verification, and code generation.

Responsible for writing C# scripts in Unity to control animal behavior in a simulated world. Debugged code and created new features in animal movement to generate more realistic animal behaviors such as moving and hunting in herds. The work of our team, combined with many others, was deployed for use in CS498 - IoT.

• Worked on geolocation project to provide an easy to use MATLAB interface to LOS intersections of terrain models, improving speed and user flexibility• Created special user feature that reduced runtime by 90% for main intersection problem by preloading altitudes when user is able to input a latitude-longitude box.• Wrote script running comparisons between DTED0, SRTM3, and GMTED data on geolocation code to generate histogram displaying differences in ECEF positions of intersection points.

• Used ArcGIS system software to (1) obtain real-world data for DEM, soil, land use, precipitation, and stream flow data and (2) to utilize specific geographic information system (GIS) skills towards a spatial and hydrologic analysis of a new catchment area.• Utilized specific GIS techniques towards a holistic spatial and hydrologic analysis of a new catchment area in the Mackinaw River Basin. Areas investigated include location, stream network, topography, soils, vegetation, the climate it experiences, and its streamflow response. Final work presented at spring symposium.
