About Daniel Yap

I enjoy working in highly dynamic and challenging engineering environments. I am known to be diligent, pragmatic, dedicated and have extensive attention to detail.I have a good balance of commercial awareness and technical knowledge. I particularly enjoy working in the renewables offshore industry. This industry is more exciting then ever with growth in new technology like floating wind, hydrogen conversion, tidal and much more to achieve net carbon zero energy.I love working with different people from all backgrounds and cultures. Communication is an important aspect at work. It's exciting to discuss new technology solutions with the technical team and managing all aspects of a successful tender which also includes costing, planning and contractual terms.My ambition in any job role is to constantly improve the quality of products or services and deliver growth to the business in a sustainable manner. I believe it's important to innovate new ideas and encourage staff to adopt a positive mindset to constantly improve what they do.
