I had begun my career in customer service and these are some of key skills that I have accumulated. Multi tasking especially during peak season as the incoming tasks may vary in degree of processes required for completion within a period of time. In addition, resolving the tasks in a timely manner can allow one to achieve more of my department's key performance indicators. Managing expectations of different stakeholders is vital in my current role because I am essentially the middle person between my company and the customer. Hence I see myself in the role of aligning both parties towards a solution by obtaining, compiling and communicating the options for the task at hand. Soft skills are essential in building relationships with both my customers and colleagues. For instance, it may allow me to ask the right questions leading to identify root cause of a customer's inquiry or ensure I have the full picture to resolve the complaint. My current employer has a motto respect=result and I am a believer of this sentiment because I choose to primarily value the good in another person. In addition, I am willing to help the other to grow as much as I am permitted to do so. I am also involve in the live video broadcast department of a religious organization and the main highlight of this role is troubleshooting technical issues on the go. I believe perseverance and humility are important in this department. Because some solutions maybe discovered after numerous strategies are used due to various external/internal factors. While I admit we are to take ownership of our roles but we should be open to give/receive the assistance of others. The roles may differ from directing multiple cameramen or leading a broadcast team during an event.
