During my years of studying as a B Creative Intelligence and Innovation (BCII) student, I had the opportunity to work with Google, Accenture, Department of Mental Health, Sydney Council and more. Working with these various clients developed my understanding of current fabric of society and the direction of where it could be heading if nothing is done to ameliorate the problems that we're facing today. In BCII, we learn to tackle these issues in transdisciplinary teams taking advantage of our different epistemological world views and the use of various problem solving methods moving from problems to possibilities and from possibilities to solutions for a better future. We are also equipped with entrepreneurial abilities where we simply start from ideas to a business model to a business plan and onto presenting to venture capitalists. My background in B Design Architecture has equipped me with hard skills on CAD and Adobe. I mainly use Rhino for flexibility in design in conjunction with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for drawing and rendering. I also use Adobe After Effects to compile videos for presentations and various assessment. Adobe Lightroom is occasionally used for retouching photos of models and buildings. Portfolios, fanzines, booklets, pamphlets, brochures are all done on Adobe InDesign. The project that I've been involved with since the end of 2016 has lead me to an internship with UTS at the PMO where I was able to take on UTS as the client for this potential structure. It started in April 2017 and ended in September the same year but it is currently on-going outside of the internship. This experience built my understanding of the corporate structure of the University as more of a business than an institution and strengthened my skills to work with the client on the design of a building. I was also able to work on drawings and renders for the proposed design of the site.
