I was responsible for all Skim Milk Powder, Anhydrous Milk Fat, Butter Milk Powder, and Lactose sales globally to this key customer, worth ~NZD300m per year. I was part of the team to renegotiate Fonterra’s largest supply agreement and led the negotiations for Skim Milk Powder and Anhydrous Milk Fat.

I have negotiated and implemented multiyear supply agreements that generated value for both Fonterra and my customers. I have successfully developed opportunities to supply new dairy ingredients to allow customers to launch new products and/or diversify their supplier base.

Worked at the Fonterra Brands manufacturing plant in South Auckland where I was rotated through the following roles:Technical Training Coordinator: Implemented and created a training system for the UHT, yoghurt and fresh milk plants. This system detailed the training steps required to maintain and operate the plants. I created and implemented a database that detailed the training which was completed by the 1000 staff onsite.Capital Projects Engineer: Part of the Engineering project team to install new processing equipment into our UHT and fresh milk plants. Worked on efficiency and continuous improvement projects within the plants to increase throughput and reduce downtime.

Accepted into the Fonterra Graduate Technical programme where I completed a Master in Dairy Science and Technology at Massey University and the Fonterra Research and Development Centre. I studied and gained knowledge in all aspects of the dairy industry; from the components of milk, milk production, transportation, processing and manufacturing, and storage. I gained experience as an operator multiple manufacturing plants which produced milk powders, dairy fats, specialty cheeses, UHT, fresh milk and yoghurt.Completed personal development courses in project management, time management, report writing, conducting presentations and communicating with stakeholders.

Contracted to Lanzatech New Zealand Ltd working alongside the project engineering team in the development of a biogas plant which converts exhaust gases from a steel factory into ethanol.

Worked with an engineering projects team in the Greenlane Biogas division. I was involved with developing and manufacturing biogas production units for international export. Regularly communicated with suppliers in the ordering and tracking of components and materials. Involved with the logistics and transporting of large biogas units, where I was able to obtain skills in time management to ensure deadlines were met.
