What is important to me as an architect?Solid structure, code readability, performance, DRY and KISS are the basics for me.What kind of attitude can you expect from me?I care about communication, I care about feedback,I care about doing things properly, I care about honesty. React Native DeveloperCreative Dock Oct 2020 - Jan 2021Prague, CzechiaHelping Creative Dock to develop fintech mobile app for Ukrainian bank. TypeScript was part of the app but it was not used properly - soft check (0 erorrs), strict check (over 600 errors). DRY it was not. Again I found myself saving another app. Bug fixing by type fixing, which also revealed many unhandled unhappy path scenarios. This project was just another clear example of bad architecture, weak leadership and in consequence toxic atmosphere in the team. I did what I could to help them and then left for a green field project, where I received an opportunity to do things "right" from the start. -
Frontend ArchitectLolo.Team Oct 2019 - Sep 2020Helping NanguTV with their video streaming platform for O2 and Orange TV. Most bug fixing I have ever done in my life. All of the core mobile app developers left the company and it was up to us, bodyshop developers, to cleanup the mess. This job helped me to become a debugging expert, had to learn Java and Swift on the job to fix native layers, fixed many bugs just by type fixing and did many big impact/risky/sometimes breaking changes to correct the app state. Mental resiliance and strong leadership was neccessary to get things in order. -

React + D3 DeveloperSocialbakers Nov 2017 - Jul 2018Prague, The Capital, Czech RepublicMostly data visualization with React, Redux, D3, ES6 and Coffee Script. One of the best projects I ever had was figuring out how to replace the Google Map with cheaper or free alternative. I ended up making my own with D3-geo, Topojson and React. It had custom animated markers, responsive annotations in two languages, annotation sizes where calculated by each country size and zooming level. The map had custom zooming and panning controls. Optimization was big part of it too. Great learning experience with great feeling of accomplishment. Another awesome project was a new slider dashboard with 6 different charts. I made the whole UI with scss, React and D3. Besides some utility libraries I have not used anything else. Again, great learning experience with great feeling of accomplishment. When these awesome projects were done, I was "promoted" to bug fix team for the main Social Bakers suite. At the same time I was not getting what I was promised. Politics they said. I left them 2 months later to learn React Native at Creative Dock. -
Frontend Developer, DesignerLinksoft Feb 2017 - Oct 2017Prague, The Capital, Czech RepublicMost of the time I was programming with vanilla JavaScript, Handlebars.js and Sass. I was responsible for the front end of Kosmas and Charles University reservation system project. I've made a template PDF generator for Fair Credit bank using Handlebars and Gulp. Projects were .Net based so most of the business logic was made in .Net. Which meant there was not enough JavaScript for me to learn. In order to compensate for that, I had used vanilla JavaScript instead of jQuery and I stayed away from UI plugins. One of the most interesting tasks I remember was making advanced drag and drop with vanilla JavaScript and sass. 90% of my work was sass (CSS) and I got pretty damn good at it. The company was nice. But I needed to learn more JavaScript and decided to look for JavaScript developer job. I end up moving to Social bakers and got exactly what I wished for. The best part about this position was the freedom I had when it comes to the design and UX. I miss that part. -
