Starting out as a small e-commerce I was in charge of most things online, from setting up our shop with Wordpress/Woocommerce to digital marketing and SEO. With a shift of business strategy, where we now are fully focused on being a manufacturer, selling our products through retailers, I've also taken a step back from the daily operations. Even though I'm currently not as active as I used to, Dreaming of Monday is still what got me into coding, analytics, and measurement. Those interests ultimately led me to IHM Business School and the program Digital Marketing & Sales Analytics.

Building on what I did during my internship I continued with creating more reports and setting up new tracking for better measurement of the website.On the subject of measurement, I initiated a framework on how the organization should make use of campaign tagging (UTM). Throughout my time with Axis Communications I had the opportunity to improve my skills in JavaScript and DOM manipulation. Thanks to this I made use of some of GTM's more advanced features, such as the custom javascript variable, which ultimately led to reports with greater insights. To make the collecting of data more reliable and predictable I also contributed to the requirements for leveraging the GTM data layer.

From day one I was invited to join various meetings, everything from SEO projects to the development of a new website. However, rather soon I realized that those broad and very high-level strategy meetings weren't for me. Instead, I decided to focus fully on what interests me the most, namely Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Data Studio. I spent a lot of time creating reports for various stakeholders and implementing event tracking through GTM.

Went to Norway after I got my Bachelor's degree, where my brother was living at the time. Since I came there without having a job I wasn't very picky in the beginning, and therefore started working as a retail clerk at Shell gas station. Ultimately I decided to return to Sweden before getting a job in line with my education. Still a great experience.
