At Spotify I worked with the subscription platform. It is one of the largest in the world with over 200 million subscribers. My responsibilities included* Designing, building and maintaining resilient and scalable micro services deployed in Kubernetes. The service safely processed about 3 million requests a day, but around 10 million per day during peak load* DevOps responsibilities in Spotify's subscription system. As I had a long and good understanding of the platform I was often scheduled to be on call during high risk events* Integrating the invoicing system with a machine learning model to better predict the grace period a user should get when a payment failed to maximise profit and retention* Starting up a new team that took ownership of Spotify's fulfilment process. The team was responsible for enabling all features for the product the user purchased* Expanding my knowledge by participating in an in house data engineering course. I then used those skills to integrate Spotify's invoicing system with regulatory requirements of Taiwan

Kambi is a B2B sports betting company, they sell a fully managed sportsbook to other betting companies. At Kambi I worked on the system that served bets to the clients. My responsibilities included* Designing and implementing a system that required high availability and low latency to handle betting at peak hours like during the FIFA world cup* Designing and building a system that integrated with the Italian gaming regulation authorities. I then travelled to Rome to participate in a verification trial of our software, the software passed all tests* Reviewed and improved our deployment process to always include a fully automated rollback procedure. So if there were an issue our ops team had the rollback option

Spacemetric builds tooling to read and adjust images from satellite and airborne cameras. As Spacemetric is a small company I was involved in all levels of the company development cycle, including developing in the full stack, from UI to backend

While studying at university, I worked part-time as an RCA in the R&D department of Sony Ericsson. My responsibilities included analysing, repairing, and modifying prototype smartphones under development. Additionally, we examined customer-returned phones to identify the causes of their malfunctions.

The Swedish army primarily relies on conscription from the general population. Every male in Sweden is required to undergo mental and physical evaluations. The army selects the top candidates to enroll in basic military training. I was conscripted as an army engineer, tasked with maintaining secure communications at the Forward Operating Base (FOB). I was awarded the highest rank achievable for a conscripted soldier, Fänrik. A Fänrik is a company officer who can command up to 200 soldiers.
