Daniel believes in the potential of technologies such as vertical farming, in vitro cultured meat to deaccelerate climate change and organs-on-chip to protect animal welfare in the pharmaceutic industry. Furthermore, Daniel wants to contribute to space exploration. He has a proven track record in conducting R&D in gravitational biology and tissue engineering, with more than one year space ground-based and spaceflight mission experience. He intends to develop sustainable bioreactors to support living systems in space.
