As a Project Manager in this distinguished Architectural Firm specialized in Hospitality and Assisted Living Facilities, my main role is to be involved in all aspects of the project, from the beginning of the Yield Studies (site studies, Lumion Render images), to the coordination aspects of Construction Administration. Being DLW Architects, an Architectural firm specialized in the design of Hotels, I have had the opportunity of working with different hospitality brands such as InterContinental Hotel Group (IHG), Hilton, J.W. Marriot amongst others, coordinating their prototype products and adapting them to each unique project and situation, resulting in the best outcome for the client and Brand. Among my duties as a P.M., I oversee, coordinate and produce the Construction Documents in REVIT, in complete coordination with MEP, Structural, Civil and Landscape Consultants; establish a relationship between the General Contractors and different Consultants, overseeing the process of RFI, Submittals, and Reviews, from the Client, Hotel Brands, and different Government agencies

I serve as the Quality, Heath, Safety and Environmental Project Specialist, and among my responsibilities is to oversee that all current projects meet the client, regulatory and statutory QHSE requirements. The company is an engineering consulting and design firm, primarily focused on nuclear work in the US, Europe and the United Arab Emirates. One of my duties is to serve as Internal Auditor for several Internal and External Audits and Surveillances. I also have conducted Quality training on the company’s Quality Manual and Quality Procedures, to current and new employees. I have participated in the review and development of QHSE Plans and Procedures for the company, performed subcontractors prequalification evaluations, and participate in the Management of Corrective/Preventive Actions (CPARs) and Nonconformances (NCRs).

I was promoted as the Atlantic Laboratory Manager with Fall Line Testing & Inspection, LLC (Fall Line) assigned to the Atlantic Laboratory of the Panama Canal Third Set of Locks, I was responsible for supervising the overall laboratory activities including personnel, equipment and test procedures. Among my responsibilities was to interface with the client on a day to day basis (Grupo Unidos por el Canal), as well as the Owner (Autoridad del Canal de Panama). Also, I was responsible for organizing, scheduling training and ensuring the program is effectively implemented, delivering test results and reports on a timely basis, assuring all Quality Standards were met by ASTM Testing Standards, and Project Requirements. I also served as an ISO 17025 Internal Auditor participating in the company’s Quality Assurance Internal Audits. As Atlantic Laboratory Manager, I was responsible for the management of Corrective/Preventive Actions (CPARs) and Nonconformances (NCRs)

I served as the Manager of Specialized Field Testing with Fall Line Testing & Inspection, LLC (Fall Line) assigned to the Pacific Laboratory of the Third Set of Locks. I was responsible for the management, performance and report preparation for specialized field testing. This specialized testing includes thermocouples, repair material (pull-off), and field concrete cores. Also prepared daily reports for the Contractor (Grupo Unidos por el Canal) describing the test results, as well performing the tests when necessary. Daily supervision of technicians while performing testing on site and at the laboratory.

I served as a Field Engineer for a established construction firm located in Panama City, Panama that specialized in project and construction management for hi end architectural firms in the Country. My position was to oversee the construction process in the field, maintain communication between clients and subcontractors, as well as management of RFIs and RFPs, Corrective and Preventive Actions and Nonconformances. Responsibilities included supervision, scheduling and estimating.

I was a Project Manager and CAD Operator for a firm that specialized in architectural design and construction. As Project Manager, I coordinated the construction process with major consultants and subcontractors, as well as field supervision at the job sites. I also organized the construction schedule, Municipal and City inspections, and the coordination of Plan Reviews by the different Building Departments through Miami-Dade County and City of Miami. I leveraged on my experience as CAD Operator applying it to key responsibilities including analyzing the architect’s concepts and prepared the preliminary sketches and detailed instructions. Additionally, I prepared architectural drawings for internal and external layout of buildings and consulted with established and prospective clients to achieve solution based on design and builder needs. I represented and/or assisted Architects on building sited to assure plans and specifications were followed. Interpreted client briefs and prepared sketch plans for their final approval. I was also responsible for examining relevant construction codes and by-laws while undertaking project documentation.
