My experience as a designer and aspiring architect working in varied sectors in the industry has been both an insightful personal journey but also an exciting exploration of what design means at different scales, applications and for particular user experiences. This includes my roles in academic, transportation & mobility, residential, commercial work, workplace fitouts and retail projects. I particularly enjoy being able to exercise creative expression while helping establish design ideas and developing graphics to support these. Similarly, I am just as intrigued by the technical components that instruct and inform the construction and completion of these projects. Familiarity with this technical side of design is something I am perpetually trying to reinforce, as I believe having a strong grasp on assembly, materials and their detailing is vital to good work.
