Analysis of heavy metals in different sediment fractions (Tessier method).Physiological parameters in plants: measurement of MDA, FRAP, soluble sugars, conjugated hydroperoxides, chlorophylls, pheophytins, carotenoids.Constructed wetlands: design, construction, and operation for wastewater treatment.Aquatic plants: collection, identification, and growth.Ecotoxicology: germination assays, root elongation tests.Biochar: production. Sorption and desorption assays, analysis of pH, EC, moisture, ash content, volatile matter, TOC, CEC.Communication: drafting scientific projects and reports, oral and poster presentations at conferences, and publication of scientific articles

During my PhD, I've made a research stay at the Laboratoire Chrono-environnement, Université de Franche-Comté, Umr Cnrs 6249 (France). This was done in the context of a scientific collaboration between our research group in Argentina and the French team. During this period I worked with natural wetlands and their contamination. In order to carry out the research internship, I received a Saint Exupéry scholarship from the Ministry of Education of Argentina in conjunction with Campus France.

Monitoring of eutrophicated water bodies in the province of Córdoba.Sampling of water in reservoirs using Niskin bottles at various depths and in rivers with properly prepared bottles.Use of the Secchi disk to measure turbidity in reservoirs.Use of multiparametric probes.Analysis of dissolved oxygen through Winkler titration.Phosphorus analysis using the ascorbic acid method.Measurement of river discharge using a hydroelectric current meter and ultrasonic Doppler flow meters.Analysis of databases spanning over 20 years.Creation of an expedited water quality index.Presentation of results at conferences.Diagnosis of the trophic state of reservoirs and proposal of various strategies to prevent eutrophication.Analysis of microcystins in water.Work with communities exposed to water containing microcystins.
