I am Daniela Ashba, a 23 year old German/Egyptian Fashion Designer. I grew up in Egypt, speaking five languages fluently. As I finished high school, I took the decision to move to Italy in order to pursue my dream of becoming a Fashion Designer. I studied for four years in Florence, Italy at POLIMODA and earned a bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design.I am currently working as a Designer at the womenswear brand MARC CAIN GMBH. I specialize in Denim and Light Woven garment. My responsibilities are Trendresearch, draw sketches for the upcoming collection with their spec sheets and technical drawings, select the fabric, create Col3d simulations, edit the images on Photoshop and participate in all the fittings/development of the garment.As a person, I would describe myself as creative and organized. I am able to prioritize work in order to reach set deadlines. As an artist, I continuously leave my comfort zone in order to explore new frontiers and innovate. Growing up surrounded by different cultures and learning five languages German, English, French, Arabic and Italian has influenced me and made me appreciate and understand different cultures. This setting is the foundation of my creativity and flexibility in adapting my design concepts. I believe that the future is driven by combining great inspirations with new technological tools mirroring people’s way of life in the coming decades.My style simple but effective. It’s all about the details. I enjoy creating clean looks with new Fabric Manipulations to enhance the wow factor.
