As a member of the research group, I helped to: (1) review international and national laws and regulations from the European Union and Colombia; (2) abstract and synthesize the most relevant information; (3) redact various documents with the purpose of showing our findings; and (4) any other activity to support the research group.

Being a member of the Consultorio Jurídico at Universidad de los Andes implied the following functions: (1) revision and redaction of legal documents such as legal actions, lawsuits, and petition rights, among others needed for the clients; (2) monitoring and surveillance of court cases and legal processes; (3) attend legal hearings; (4) keep in close contact with the clients to whom you are assisting on their legal cases and answer any questions that they may have; and (5) any other activity needed for the legal cases that the Consultorio Jurídico took upon and delegated to me.

I had the opportunity to provide assistance to the teacher Juan Manuel Amaya during this course. As a teacher assistant, I had the following functions: (1) review and grade class activities or other tasks; (2) track record of the assistance of students and their class participation; (3) be a channel of communication between the students and the teacher; (4) assist students who had difficultly or further questions on the contents of the class; (5) document the class grades and recollect it in an Excel; and (6) any other activity needed or asked by the teacher.

This course was given by the Universidad de los Andes (Bogotá, D.C., Colombia) and the Universidad Torcuato Di Tella (Buenos Aires, Argentina). Therefore, the classroom was conformed by both university students. I had the opportunity to provide assistance to five different teachers since each dictated a module within it.
