I am a research and insights professional with over a decade across both professional and academic disciplines, including services marketing, service interactions, consumer insight, healthcare, advanced technologies, and psychology and early interventions.Passionate about research management and using insight to improve customer engagement, my interests lie in how advanced technologies, AI and social robotics can lead to better service outcomes. In particular, how we can develop and utilise technologies for the betterment of business and society by leveraging such technologies for social good.As a Senior Consultant at Vibrant Insights I deal both with quantitative and qualitative data within consumer insight and market research. I pride myself in providing valuable data-driven insights and developing efficient and effective ways of presenting insights in visual and written formats. I believe research and data management is key in this process and therefore develop and build systems and processes to alleviate the challenges of data extraction. I am passionate about research management and the credible and accurate representation and use of knowledge and insights.My doctorate at the University of Queensland Business School (Australia) sits within the marketing department, focusing on Service Robots and their interactions between consumers and employees. In particular my research explores how nonverbal behaviours of service robots impact the service interaction and experience. As a lecturer of Service Interactions in a Digital Age (part of the Master of Leadership and Innovation), I enjoy challenging the perspectives and thought processes people have around technology, technology-infusion and the value of technology-enabled interactions in service contexts. I am passionate about teaching people that it is not a case of "will technology take over?" (Or will robots/AI take over?) but rather, what can we do to make sure that technology's impact in our society is one that is good?My openness to opportunities has led me to a variety of work experiences ranging from consulting in consumer research, working with psychology research within prevention, parenting interventions, and cognitive behaviour therapy, to telehealth research (NHMRC health grant). Throughout my experience I have developed my data collection, analysis and reporting skills utilising both qualitative and quantitative techniques. I have 9+ years of experience teaching within higher education including lecturing and tutoring.
