I started working when I was little. Keep in mind that we lived in Colombia where the laws and the culture are different. I would help my mom build these marshmallow men on sticks. I'd dip the eyeballs in water and stick them to their 'face'. The arms looked like a crucifixion, but in all fairness, they were cute. I received a kit for making bracelets with all sorts of exciting stone options. I liked arts and crafts, and it was the only time I got to spend with my mom. She was a workaholic, and my father was not a good person. My experiences were significantly difficult within arriving to the United States. Nonetheless, I was resilient, adaptable, and I had a necessity to overcome all challenges. I developed a strong work ethic similar to my mom's. At the age of 15, I worked at a supermarket in Florida known as Publix. I liked the job because I was easily able to complete all the tasks expected of me. I am a fast learner. Drawing became my passion and career choice after I turned 18. I am very content with the path I've been forging for myself. Under the guidance of brilliant professors like Ryan Seslow, James DeWoody, Anila Jaho, Nathaniel Sullivan and Professor Beata at QCC, I learned techniques and skills for my art that have equipped me with everything I need. I am very grateful for my education, and towards the professors who have encouraged me. My current job is Freelancing. I get commissioned by clients to draw their prompts. I am looking for a stable position to teach.

  I draw commissions for clients. The price of my commissions is discussed with the client, as it depends on the complexity and time it will take me to create the piece. For a single character illustration, full body, colored and rendered, I charge $80. For projects bigger than this, the price increases.
