I assisted Dr. Josefina Bañales and the CAMBIAR Collective on Roots y Resistencia, a youth research-practice partnership (RPP) that aims to support the development of Latinx/o youth's racial identity and activism, center youth voices in the development of an educational program that motivates Latinx/o youth's racial identity and activism.

I worked alongside Dr. Nadine Naber on her research with the Mamas Activating Movements for Abolition and Solidarity (MAMAs) collective. MAMAs vision is to integrate the voices and strategies of BIPOC people who are mothers and caretakers into social movements, media debates, and policy processes related to prison abolition, migrant justice, and the decolonization of indigenous lands.

I continued my work with Dr. Sarai Coba-Rodriguez and Dr. Kate Zinsser on their educational psychology research project focusing on preschool expulsions in Illinois.
