I volunteered at a hospital in my city my junior year to see how it would feel like working in a hospital setting. I have helped out in the ICU by restocking the rooms with items needed by doctors when a patient occupied that room. I also helped out at the information desk. I would direct visitors to where they needed to be and made sure all patient whereabouts were kept confidential unless the right name was given to me by the visitor, if incorrect I would have to tell them that person was not in this hospital.
