Research on high temperature materials (Ni-based superalloys) for gas turbines applications

Theoretical research on soil- buried infrastructure interaction was the main focus of my work. I performed investigations on both physical and mechanical aspects of the buried pipeline with regard to changes of the soil geo-mechanical conditions.

Strength and Fatigue analyses of mechanical systems for industrial applications (mainly offshore), design and geometry optimalization by means of CAD and FEM simulation software.Structural analyses and results interpretation accordingly to norms and certification instances.

Research of the polycrystalline silicon films (for TFT application) on non-refractory substrates using Excimer laser crystallisation with main focus on crystal orientation and defect generation during crystallisation. Experimental work by means of Scanning and Transmission Electron Microscopy.
