I gained clinical research experience in endocrine and metabolic surgery. I perform projects related to thyroid, adrenal, and bariatric surgery. I provide data collection, statistical data analyses, and hypotheses for further development of R&D projects. I have developed expertise in endocrinology and metabolic diseases. I have produced many abstracts, presentations, and manuscripts.

I acquired postdoctoral training for the URM Propeller (STTEP-UP) Initiative in Science and Medicine. I engage in monthly formal leadership and skills exercises in the academic enterprise and participate in the In Choir Learning Laboratory on approaches to problems in science and medicine. I explore how scientists pose specific questions, develop study designs, and use analytical tools. I utilize the "Meet the Expert" format.• Mastered critical thinking skills to evaluate the validity and implications of the published literature. Formulated testable hypotheses, designed studies, analyzed data, and interpreted quantitative and qualitative findings, including potential impact on the health of individuals across the entire life cycle.• Completed courses from the Master of Clinical Research Program such as Methods in Clinical Research and Applied Statistics in Biological Systems.
