I was born in 1982 in Giulianova, a small seaside town in central Italy. I completed Master’s degree at Politecnico di Milano in Biomedical Engineering in 2007, followed by a Ph.D. with honors in Materials Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano in 2011. My career continued in the Structural Department at the Politecnico di Milano, where I worked until 2012.In 2012, I joined Centrocot’s R&D Department, a research and testing laboratory specializing in fiber-based materials. After six years, in 2018, I was promoted to R&D Manager at Grassi S.p.A. In this role, I lead the development of new services and innovative products across the Grassi Group. My responsibilities also include supporting the company in garment engineering, integrating electronic systems, developing sustainable solutions and managing product sustainable certifications. I'm also member of the sustainability, circular economy and environmental committee of SMI (Sistema Moda Italia, the Italian textile association) and participates in Euratex working groups focused on sustainable approaches in the textile sector.
