Established in 2010, Lithops is the first Italian Li-ion technology developer and provider. Lithops has installed the first production scale Li-ion pouch cell assembling line in Italy, covering from active material mixing to cell forming, and has gained almost nine years of experience in designing and assembling electrodes for different applications and using different active materials.At the end of 2015 Lithops became part of SERI Industrial SpA, owner of the historical brand FAAM.• Responsible for the R&D centre of lithium-ion technology for the Seri Group• Development of lithium-ion battery cells for different applications and of the respective production process• Support in the design and start-up of industrial plant• Preparation of the scientific contents of the FAAM’s IPCEI project on Batteries (https://ec.europa.eu/commission/presscorner/detail/en/ip_19_6705) • Drafting and management of international projects, including European funded projects
