I am a Colombian lawyer, alumni of Universidad del Rosario, with a postgraduate diploma in Commercial Law from Universidad de los Andes. I further hold an LL.M degree in Globalization and Law, specializing in Commercial and Corporate Law from Maastricht University, the Netherlands.My professional journey concentrated around advising both public and private enterprises in areas spanning data privacy, compliance, antitrust & unfair competition, corporate law, and intellectual property, primarily trademarks and copyrights. Since 2014, I have had the privilege of contributing to a top-leading Colombian law firm, OlarteMoure. Here, I've taken charge of impactful projects safeguarding intangible assets and championing fair competition. Over four years, I led the corporate law practice and spearheaded the establishment and leadership of the firm's data privacy team.While I cherish my role as a lawyer, adeptly aligning with clients' strategic corporate plans, I'm equally enthusiastic about enhancing my workplace's growth and outreach through marketing and business development. Leveraging my profound understanding of our core strengths and client interests, I've assumed the role of Business Development Manager at OlarteMoure since 2022. Here, I play a key role in shaping marketing strategies, promoting our legal services, and nurturing robust relationships with local, regional, and global clients and partners.I am a believer in the power of communication and knowledge exchange. Over the years, I've had the privilege of speaking and guest lecturing on data privacy, strategic data management, compliance, and corporate legal trends at various local and international forums.
