Monitored and assisted in the preparation of the Deputy Program Management Division annual budget and arranged for timely submission of required information which involved tracking the $750 million budget designated to the Sigonella Naval and Operational Bases Recapitalization Project involving over 40 commands during a four-year execution plan. Reviewed incoming regulations, policy statements and directives. Maintained reviewed, analyzed and evaluated internal procedures of programs and made recommendations regarding efficiency of administrative policies, procedures and programs based on needs of the organization. Applied laws, regulation and policies for funds expenditures requests to assure that were proper, justified, and timely. Managed data, elements, and generated reports. Monitored financial obligations throughout the execution phase of the budget. Maintained budget data for the availability of funds. Quarterly reviewed financial records, analyzed cost estimates, performed cost monitoring, and advised on fiscal planning to maintain budgetary guidelines and consistency in operations. Provided guidance and assistance on applicable procedures and instructions to other clerical personnel in the office. Coordinated the daily administrative activities in support of 10 military and civilian engineers and 6 civilian technicians. Supervised and monitored one administrative employee’s performance and reviewed his personnel performance standards. Used Microsoft Word to prepare correspondence, memorandums and other types of documents. Used Microsoft Excel to develop spreadsheets to create, monitor, maintain or update data.
