I had the opportunity to develop my master thesis as an individual project in the Research & Development Altran Team and I have presented the project to an external customer.Description: Related to Remote Sensing and Artificial Intelligence, my master thesis analyzed several techniques of satellite imagery fusion to predict daily images when there is no image at all, or is covered by clouds. These techniques are called 'Spatio-Temporal Fusion Models' and ended up being a great chance to recover and predict satellite imagery, valuable for applications like Forestation and Agriculture. The implemented models were STARFM, ESTARFM, STAIR, and a proposed new one named ESTAIR were implemented and suggested by me. Those models were implemented in Google Earth Engine using Javascript and Phyton. Changing different model parameters, it was possible to extract almost 6000 experiences, understanding which aspects and variables affected the model's performance the most and which one was the more suitable model to predict or recover different types of land cover. This hard-work led to the submission of a paper and tremendous growth professionally and personally.
