The CTHH Fellowship is a service-learning program for Rush students to identify, design, and implement data-driven solutions to improve the health and well-being of the homeless community, or people at risk of homelessness within the Rush University Medical Center's Emergency Department.

Rush's Social Work and Community Health department (SWaCH) focuses on the whole-person, family, and community health to advance systems that promote overall health and equity. The UChicago Medicine's Cancer Program is ranked #1 in IL (and now #12 in the nation) – growing the demand for cancer centers to become more aggressive in offering new patient appointments as soon as possible. With this, the Cancer Service Line (CSL) proposes to offer new patient appointments within 72-hours this July. The three expected deliverables go as follows:(1) Develop a communication plan that captures the key information that needs to be communicated to ensure all parties are aware of the change [occurring] and remain updated throughout the transition(2) Create a CSL dashboard that measures new patient access by disease area, cancer network site, provider type, and modality(3) Synthesize a summary of barriers encountered by the cancer intake center in achieving the 72-hour access model and recommend three ways to overcome the barriers

CSP's are student leaders who represent The Career Center (TCC) by supporting the studentpopulation in aiding individuals reach their career readiness goals. To name a few, facilitating one-on-one services can include resume, cover letter and LinkedIn profile reviews, as well as presenting a variety of career related workshops within classrooms (also at the request of any RSOs). As a CSP, I recognize my responsibilities and duties are necessary for a successful transition into the workplace for myself, and my community.

I am honored to have been accepted into the Undergraduate Research Apprenticeship Program (URAP) for the 2022-2023 academic year. I was matched with my PhD student & mentor, Rebeca J. Agosto-Rosa - whose background is in political psychology. I'm excited to delve into another field (other than my own) and begin to collect data for my own project to later present at the University Symposium event in late April.

Talent Development is a liaison of Talent Management (and Human Resources beyond) that broadly focuses on up-skilling and/or re-skilling employees by begging the question: how do we attract, retain, and engage our employees to be the best health care providers possible? I worked with developing and organizing training materials that go directly into the Learning Management System (LMS) under my preceptor, Cindy Lovell at Carle Health. There are a lot of moving pieces that go into reviewing, editing, and finalizing these educational materials - as well as the involvement of many key team members. Moreover, this position honed my Microsoft Office skills and briefly introduced me to Articulate 360. I got a glimpse of the HR Ticketing System, participated in prospective candidate interviews, and a one-to-one mentorship. Thanks to Bria Phillips and the rest of the Talent Management team for inviting me to work on the "Parent/Child Plan" project that prefaced with learning SmartSheet.
