About Daniela Jaimes
I am a graduate of the University of La Verne with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and an emphasis in Broadcast Journalism. My time at the University of La Verne was spent primarily focusing on journalism whilst concentrating on multi media skills in television and film production. Through my collegiate experience, I wrote, shot and edited full package news stories as well as produced and directed student films. My senior production, "Growing up Together," won the Mark of Excellence from the Society of Professional Journalists and competed for national recognition.I spent my first summer, post-grad, interning on the Warner Bros. lot for Magnolia Hill Productions ran by former William Morris EVP and Worldwide Head of Television, Sam Haskell. I then made the jump into the unscripted territory and spent some time working for David Garfinkle and Jay Renfroes' ingenious production company Renegade 83; the team responsible for brave and bold content like "Naked and Afraid."In 2017 I was presented the incredibly oppurtunity to become an Agent Trainee at United Talent Agency. UTA is at the forefront of dimensional, culturally rich and multi-platformed talent representation. I have had the immense fortune of working under Geoff Suddleson (Partner, Co-Head of Dept), Amanda Hymson, Julien Thuan (Partner, Co-Head of Dept), Keya Khaytian (Partner, Co-Head of Dept), and Jason Richman (Co-Head of Dept). My experience at UTA has allowed me to work in Alternative and Documentary television and film, assist in the representation of the industries most influential and sought after writers, directors and producers and work in the intellectual property space, overseeing the negotiations of the most prolific novels, comics and articles.
