The Senior Health Economics Analyst is responsible for identifying and delivering data-driven insights and analytical support to executive leadership of ChenMed. Success in the role will be achieved through the ability to leverage data and analytic skills to create business intelligence—identifying risks to be mitigated or opportunities to be seized. The incumbent serves as the primary medical cost analytics consultant to our Finance, Clinical, Operations, and Specialty Care leadership and will make data-driven strategy recommendations in the Medicare Advantage and healthcare industry.

I help gather, organize, interpret, and use complex data to create reports and visualizations that will be used to manage public health risk, develop processes, make decisions, and optimize results. Help the Health Operations Center (HOC) to assess and identify areas of need, look for trends and outliers and assess areas of risk and improvement by analysis of complex data. My role interfaces with all brands, medical teams onboard, shoreside health services and public health leaders as well as external vendors that manage our healthcare systems. I pioneer the creation of the healthcare database for the corporation. The ultimate goal as the Senior Health Data Analyst is to leverage data to monitor and trend public health risks, outcomes, efficiency, and track performance efforts to reduce cost and improve revenue in our global fleet of 90+ ships.

As the Medical Economics Analyst I am responsible for assisting in the analytics and review of data relating to medical and pharmacy costs incurred by the company including assessing trends, updating reports, reviewing data, and assisting the VP of Medical Economics.
