After winning the 9th edition of Pingo Doce’s Child Literature Prize in 2022 with the short story “O Avô Minguante/The Waning Granpa”, I was awarded a government Literary Grant that supports the development of authorial writing projects. I have since then been working on the development of my first novel, "O Grito do Melro/The Blackbird's Cry".Before that, in 2018, I integrated CTL’s team as a Production Director for a wide range of significant projects in the Portuguese cultural landscape such as MIL Lisbon festival, Casa do Capitão, Musicbox, Circuito and Circuito Lisboa. Also in CTL, I took on the role of Executive Director and, for 4 years, designed production models, wrote product briefs, grant proposals and financial reports for public/private supporters, managed and monitored budgets, and led interdisciplinary teams with 50+ elements. Throughout my professional career, I have helped develop and enhance projects whose goals are to impact and transform through culture the communities they partner with and strive to involve. I am passionate about meaningful, ethical and transparent experiences and, as a team leader, production designer and writer, my purpose is to pay exceptional attention to detail in every line of work, ensuring that every element’s perspective is taken into account in the final outcome. Before CTL, I was a cinema producer from 2015 to 2018, gradually progressing from production assistant to chief production manager. I had the pleasure of working in feature films such as “Axilas” by José Fonseca e Costa, “Le Divan de Staline” by Fanny Ardant, “Ruth: A Pérola do Índico” by António Botelho, “Linhas Tortas” by Rita Nunes and “Quero-te tanto!” by Vicente Alves do Ó.Born and currently living in Almada, I hold a cum laude B.A. in Communication by UNL – FCSH and a professional degree in Production and Audiovisual Marketing by RESTART – Institute for Creativity, Arts and New Technologies.
