Greet surgery consultations in the office and review the recommendations provided by the surgeon. Surgery scheduling, keeping patient records, entering post-surgical data and scheduling surgical equipment. Verify patient information and insurance benefits in our EMR and associate systems. Provide patient with an overview of the surgical process, review pricing and financing options. Answering emails and calls in a timely manner. Ensure that all required payments are collected prior to surgery. Ensure all required pre-surgical forms and medical clearances are completed, accurate, and uploaded to the appropriate systems prior to surgery.

Taking patient medical history, performing vision and diagnostic tests, instructing / administering medications, and educating patients. Assisting with patient procedures.
