Work on global sustainable development and strategic partnerships. Managing a strategic internationalization initiative (since 2019) to develop long-term multidisciplinary collaboration with partners in East Africa (see below). Also coordinating two Sida capacity building programs with Rwanda and Mozambique – Research Training Partnership Programmes.

The East Africa initiative (see above) involves project and collaboration development – within research, education and utilization. Previous strategic partnerships with various countries (e.g. managing the university's role in a project with 8 Japanese and 7 Swedish partners) and stakeholders (e.g. sustainability work at a competence center involving government agency dialogue and coordinating an expert group on Environmental Footprint). Led a university-wide mapping of internationalization to further develop internationalization strategy and work.

Program Manager & International Project Manager at a multidisciplinary research center (SAFER), in project groups of 6-8 partners. Collaborations with China, Japan, Malaysia, EU, Africa etc. Developed international agreements, collaboration strategies and recommendations to the management regarding global sustainability initiatives. Managed center evaluations by international scientific advisory boards and national funding agencies.

As Junior Professional worked on various activities to disseminated development research, in close coordination with UN departments, nations' permanent missions to the UN, embassies, and the UNU global research program as well as NGOs and media. Specifically in charge of the Africa Series (international high-level forum focusing on the Millennium Development Goals and bridging the gap between researchers and decision makers).

Arequipa Province, Peru

Worked for a Swedish NGO and its local collaboration partner in Peru (focused on rural development) with capacity building workshops, educative information campaigns, and evaluation of aid projects. Produced radio programs as part of a project to increase marginalized groups' influence in society and their interaction with local decision makers. From field work in Peru to advocacy work in Sweden.

Niassa Province, Moçambique

Minor Field Study project (master thesis) financed by Sida. Investigated the socio-economic importance of climate and infrastructure for sustainable food security (through for instance field observations and interviews with farmers, entrepreneurs, and state officials).
