If you know me, you know that I come from a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry and I am a true professional when it comes to supporting and caring about people. However, I’m sure there are still a few things about me and my journey that might surprise you. Since I graduated high school, my wish has been to contribute to others’ wellbeing, even with a little support. My first job directly related to patients was when I worked as a nurse in an Emergency Hospital, while also studying at Medical School. Continuing my study, I graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Gr. T. Popa, Iasi, Romania and became a medical doctor. Soon after, I started a very short journey as a doctor in my home city.But why did I choose medicine, and when did it all start? I remember the time spent as a child, for a regular children’s disease, in a hospital-seeing other kids suffering and feeling compassionate. That was the moment when I decided this is the field I want to be in; here, I can be myself, and even if I help a patient with a smile or a good word, I will feel happy to be contributing.Being interested in expanding my horizons, however still in the medical field, I started a new journey as a medical representative in the pharma industry. Joining my first employer, before my 30s, was more than an ongoing school! My journey took me into medical fields such as oncology, psychiatry, and diabetes- to name the most “long term” moments. I expanded my role, being curious to develop myself, from field commercial area, then managing a small team in field, after that, I entered into marketing. In my last role in my first pharma employer, I expanded my business role by leading a newly formed business unit. As time passed, I decided to embark on a new endeavor in a family company. A new chance for me to extend my contribution to little patients in the neonatology field, to contribute to patients that want to breathe better and also to rare patients, those with rare diseases. As a Country Manager, leading a local agile and smart team, I humbly offer my professional time to the enrichment of my team, to patients that our products have touched directly or indirectly and to healthcare professionals that the company can support. I am grateful and honored to have had the chance to meet the family leadership team and to work constantly with current leaders who are transforming the way we contribute for the benefit of people who need the medicine the company produces.
