Hello! I am an early-career writer and interdisciplinary artist originally from Mexico. I am passionate in using theater and film to explore current socio political discourse and center unheard/ignored stories. My work and my interests focus on the colorful intertwinement between tragedy and comedy, and are influenced by my own experiences as a queer woman and migrant.I earned my BA in Public Action and Drama from Bennington College, VT. Where I focused on Women and Minority Studies, Migration Studies as well as Set Design and Playwriting. After graduation I relocated to New York City and began my work with Tripwire Harlot Press, a small theatre publishing company, as their Director of Operations and Outreach. In addition, I've most recently joined the administration team at the Horticultural Society of New York as their new Office Assistant. However, my continuous professional and artistic goal is to keep on engaging with social work, collaborating with fellow artists, and expand my profesional experience in the theater and film fields.
