In this role, I was responsible for generating CAD models, engineering drawings, and procurement lists needed for the manufacture and integration of a new server bay with other company designs. I also collaborated with the production team to improve custom tray designs, and I incorporated outstanding redlines and generated new design revisions for release. Additionally, I standardized complex assemblies by restructuring each drawing list to conform with requirements. As an engineer in this role, I was responsible for analyzing and revising procedural documentation and part drawings for the E2D-Hawkeye Support Equipment. I worked with a team to clear a backlog of engineering drawing reviews, and I also dispositioned all 49 engineering reviews 30 days ahead of schedule through the distribution of tasks and collaboration. In this role, I revised reviews for discrepancies, potential hazards, and unclear instructions, and I arranged meetings to present proposals and obtain sign-off signatures from cognizant engineers. I also modified part drawings and wiring diagrams according to revision comments made by the assigned electrical engineer. Despite the challenges of working virtually during the Fall semester, I was able to effectively manage my assignments while balancing school. This role required strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team.

As a team member at Life Space Communities' Village on the Green retirement community, I was responsible for providing excellent service to residents. In this role, I served as a hostess, waitress, and bartender, and I engaged in face-to-face interactions with residents to ensure their satisfaction with their dining and drinking experiences. I also supervised a serving staff of 15 workers, delegating closing side work and overseeing that the work was done properly. In addition, I trained new hires and managed the bar. This role required strong communication skills, the ability to work well with a team, and customer service experience.

During the summer of 2019, I had the opportunity to experience life in Tokyo, Japan. I studied Japanese Language and Global Culture Studies with a mix of local and international students. In an effort to connect with my peers, I learned how to communicate in a new culture and adapted to the non-western lifestyle. Through this experience, I was able to make life-long friendships and came out of my shell, becoming a more outgoing and initiative person.
