Associate Professor in Industrial Design at the University of Campania "Vanvitelli" her research is concentrated in the area of Communication Design, with attention to scenarios and emerging cultures such as Asia and Africa where she carries out research programs. Specific interests in the history and critique of graphic design led her to investigate the visual languages and cultures of the contemporary, while research into the project led her to work in emergency design, paying attention to the new emergencies of the contemporary world, to the themes of complex writing and to the themes of visual ecology.She conceived and coordinated the International Graphic Design Week from 2009 to 2015 and co-authored AWDA Women in Design Award.Member of international juries. President of Aiap for two terms and vice-president of PoliDesign. She is currently coordinator of the thematic commission of the ADI Design Index; World Regional Representative for the IIID International Institute for Information Design.
