Daniela's passion for criminal advocacy stems from her personal background and deep-seated values. As the child of immigrant parents who sought better opportunities in Australia amid the challenges of starting anew, Daniela developed a keen awareness of social justice and a strong inclination to help others. From a young age, she was captivated by the legal field, often following high-profile cases on television. These experiences fuelled her aspiration to pursue a career in law, driven by a genuine desire to make a meaningful difference in people's lives and contribute positively to society.Motivated by her deep empathy and knowledge of the challenges faced by families affected by criminal matters, Daniela has volunteered her time and resources to non-profit organisations focused on providing crucial support to the children of incarcerated individuals during these exceptionally difficult times. Dual background in psychology and the law has equipped Daniela not only to navigate the complexities of the law but also to empathise with clients’ experiences, allowing her to be extremely compassionate and effective. Daniela’s ability to understand human emotions, cognition and behaviour provides for a greater insight into how mental wellbeing and the legal system are linked.
