As the Media and Marketing Production Assistant, I helped operate a SONY DSLR camera, and a LUMIX point-and-shoot camera to record various types of video and still photography. In addition, I learned how to use a RODEcaster to record various types of sound for commercials and podcasts. I also used programs like Adobe Lightroom, After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop to edit a variety of videos, photos, and animations to promote tourism and travel to Las Cruces, as well as a cellular device to capture video and photographs for TikTok Content. Overall, in this internship I created content used to advertise things like the Las Cruces International Film Festival in the Tucson Airport, the Las Cruces International Mariachi Conference, MIRA Las Cruces, invitations to the Visit Las Cruces rebranding, and even Las Cruces' very own Restaurant Week.

As the Studio Programs work-study, I contributed to the Las Cruces Museum of Art by developing, preparing for, and facilitating the art classes provided through the museum. In addition, I was also responsible for maintaining the studio classrooms. This included things like organizing art materials, inventorying supplies, loading and unloading the ceramics kiln, and cleaning classrooms. As a Studio Programs work-study I was also responsible for generating project ideas with the help of my Supervisor. An example of such projects were the creation of digital advertisements for upcoming events, the planning of my Paint Pouring Class which I executed, prepped, and taught all on my own, and the Mugs for Mother's Day event, where we provided families with ceramic mugs to glaze and later fire in the kilns.
