Participated in a research project to assess how bank loan charge-offs in Latin America respond to macroeconomic fundamentals, processing banks’ financial statements of four countries and producing banking performance indicators using Stata.

* Built and consolidated a panel database with bond issuance/balance sheet information for financial and non-financial firms in Emerging Economies from 1990-2016. The data was extracted from Thomson Reuters and Bloomberg.* Conducted analysis of the bond market performance and the indebtedness of state-owned enterprises in developing countries using panel data models in Stata and R. Co-author of a research document with its findings.* Participated in the writing of one of the chapters of the annual macroeconomic report of the Research Department.

* Managed Fedesarrollo’s main product (surveys/indicators); updated its reports with OECD international standards.* Outlined and implemented a new concept for the organization’s financial analysts’ opinion survey.* Collected economic data for periodic statistical analysis and reports; Maintained the organization's General Equilibrium Model.

Developed an early warning indicator for predicting credit booms using a logistic regression model and a Bayesian model averaging method to capture model and parameter uncertainty. Co-author in the final publication.
