My PhD project focus on the development of polymeric nanoparticles for anticancer gene therapy.During my PhD project I have acquired extensive knowledge and experience on:-copolymer synthesis by ATRP and click chemistry techniques-characterization of polymers by SEC, FTIR and NMR techniques - development of polymeric-based nanoparticles for gene therapy applications- nanoparticles physicochemical characterization techniques, such as DLS and Zeta potential- Design of transfection protocols with non-viral vectors- Evaluation of transfection efficiency using diverse methods, such as flow cytometry, fluorescence microscopy or luciferase assays.- Cell culture /3D cell culture models- Development of antitumoral strategies (combinatorial therapeutic approaches with suicide gene/shRNA and chemotherapeutic drugs)- Evaluation of in vivo antitumoral effect (cell viability and proliferation assays)- Molecular biology techniques
