A political scientist by training and a policy-maker with a proven track record in media relations, analysis, and positioning. Throughout the past 15 years, I have held diverse positions in the foreign affairs and the global governance area (Caracas, Bogotá, Canberra, Florence, and now Mexico City). My primary focus of expertise concerns democracy, migration, and human rights in Latin America. I have been in charge of conducting and coordinating policy research, advocacy and training activities. I have advised civil society organizations in partnerships and communications. I have proven experience in capacity building, as well as formulating and coordinating the production of policy papers and reports. Also, operational experience in conferences, workshops, media events, and meetings with key stakeholders. I regularly write articles in academic and policy journals, as well as opinion pieces in mainstream media.
